Uzun yıllar Kemal Sunal’lı, İlyas Salman’lı filmlerin ikinci adamıydı. İlk başrolü, geç bir tarihte Şalvar Davası 1983 ile geldi. Çeşitli yayın organları tarafından sinemada yılın oyuncusu seçildi.
