Hun er bedst kendt for sin rolle som Yvonne Jensen i Olsenbanden-filmene, den lettere virkelighedsfjerne, men meget dominerende hustru til bandemedlemmet Kjeld, og mor til deres søn, Børge. Men hun er også kendt for rollen som Karla i Huset på Christianshavn. En af hendes sidste roller var i den første opsætning af Sebastians Skatteøen på Folketeatret. Hun var gift med tv-produceren og instruktøren Palle Wolfsberg. Hun ligger begravet på Vedbæk Kirkegård.
